Bottle shared at the pre-Borefts 2019 tasting, Zaandam. Poured a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light oaky, boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a crisp, toffee caramel, fruity, light oily buttery palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Tap( @ the source): Deep golden, unclear, medium-sized creamy off-white head, mild to moderate sweetish grainy nose with mild metallic traces, fruity yeast detectable as well; mild to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, medium bodied, not overly soft; mildly lingering drier bitter-grainy finish. Disappointing, at least by franconian standards…

At bierfestival Bad Staffelstein. Amber color, off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly amber malts, lightly minerally, lightly metal, a bit dry bitter. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Alright but a bit boring. 7-3-7-3-12.

At bierfestival Bad Staffelstein. Hazy light orangy color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is very distinctive and quite exceptional for a local German bierfestival I must say. Really pleasant in between all the lagers kellers weizens and dunkels. Lovely hoppy aroma and flavor, nice hop bitterness. Just a bit too carbonated but I don't mind now. Well done. A hidden gem in this pils-ruled country I'd say, although I don't mean that in a negative way I should add. I wanted to drink pils, keller and rauchbier this holiday but it still is a welcome and unexpected find amongst all those standard local beer specialities. 8-3-8-3-14.

Bottle 750ml. @ home on the terrace.[ As Reblitz Whisky Bock - 2019 ].ABV: 7.8%. Clear medium to light orange amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderateto light light heavy malty, sweet malt, caramel, rich, malty, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, rich malt, sweet malt, dried fruit, pale malt, caramel, malty, oak notes. On tap at the brewpub. A hazy orange golden beer with a off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange fruits, zest, resins. Taste of intense bitter orange fruits, grapefruit, zest, tangerine, long bitter finish. Great!
