Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, floral, moderate hoppy, flowers, citrus, orange. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, orange, flowers, pale malt, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Tap at the Bad Staffelstein Bierfestival. Beautiful, glowing red-orange, slightly hazy, with a huge, rocky head. Lightly roasty malt nose, earthy, grains, whole grain bread. Estery flavor, apple, peach, orange, rich whole grain bread, some minerals, and lemony, herbal hops. Prickly, peppery finish. Caramel apples. Full body, low carbonation.

Tap. Pours clear chestnut, medium before head, good lacing. Aroma is hardwood smoke, grain, roast, toast, caramel. Flavor is light plus sweet, very light bitter, light smokiness, balanced. Medium body.
