Sample (thanks omhper!). Black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is vanilla, liquorice, alcohol, chocolate and some spiciness. Flavour is chocolate, vanilla, alcohol and some liquorice and some toffee and marshmallows. Maple syrup sweetness in the finish.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, a lot of blackberries (actually black currant even more) with some vanilla. Flavour is chocolate, black currant, some slight vanillla and mild alcohol tones to it.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Amber colour, mediumsized slightly off-white foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity, floral, some wooden and mild herbal tones. Flavour is sweet and biscuity malts along with some wooden, grassy and mild floral bitterness to it.

Draught. Black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, some alcohol, mild bourbon, vanilla and wood. Flavour is pretty much the same elements as the aroma, but also has a quite big hoppy kick to it. Long slightly boozy sweet aftertaste.

Draught. Black colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, some dried fruits, mild chocolate and some alcohol, wood and mild toffee. Flavour is pretty much the same elements as the aroma but in a rather sweet and smooth way. Nice roasted edge to it.

Draught@Lakeuden Panimojuhlat 2018. Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some wood, toffee and mild tones of aging. Flavour is liquorice, some nutty notes, chocolate, toffee and some slight earthy notes. Beautifully balanced. Was told this was a 1 year aged keg. Delicious!

13/1/2023. Bottle at the Haderslebener pre-tasting. Courtesy of Henrik, cheers. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, toffee, liquorice. Quite sweet with light roasted bitterness. Medium to full bodied, creamy, soft carbonation. Enjoyed this.

13/1/2023. Bottle at the Haderslebener pre-tasting. Courtesy of Henrik, cheers. Pours clear dark pink/red with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet, cherry, vanilla, pastry. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, light to moderate sour. Medium body, slightly creamy, fizzy. Dry tart cherry finish. Seemed pretty good to me.
