10/7/2019. Cask at the 30th Ealing Beer Festival. Pours unclear chestnut brown with a bubbly / frothy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, biscuit, nut and hops. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Traditional. Nicely drinkable.

Cask @ Ealing Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown and hazy. Aroma and taste are nuts, caramel, roast malt, hops and has a nice bitter finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Golden Ball, York 30/6/2019. Chestnut brown in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Hedgerow fruits, leafy hops, some caramel, slightly bready malts and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask-conditioned at the Golden Ball, York 30/6/2019. Near black in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Plain chocolate, a touch of blueberry sweetness, accompanied by some toastiness and with a gentle finish. An enjoyable mild.

6/6/2019. Cask at the Leeds Beer Festival. Pours dark ruby brown with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, liquorice, roasted malt, toffee and dark fruit. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Light to moderate body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Bit disappointed with this.

Cask-conditioned at the Golden Ball, York 11/5/2019 @ 5.5%. Golden in colour, with a tight, white, head. Hedgerow hops, ripe tangerines and pineapple, sticky maltiness, a hint of pine and dryish finish. Enjoyable.

12/4/2019. Cask gravity at the Hull Real Ale & Cider Festival 2019. Pours clear pale amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of toffee, malt, hops, fruit and alcohol. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily/sticky texture, soft carbonation. Bittersweet finish. Boozy finish. Quite easy drinking.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Black with a small off-white creamy head. Has sweet dark malts and inoffensive spices with a roasted aroma, which is apparent again in its lingering aftertaste.
