4/6/2018. Cask at the Darlington Snooker Club. Pours straw gold with a small just off-white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, hops, grass and light herbal notes. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Nice bitter citrus finish.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. A very black-brown ale with a creamy head. Sweet with a strength, it has a dark malty smoothness to it.

Half pour (cask) at Pivní. Dark brown with cap of creamy beige head. Rich roasty aroma, chocolate. Taste is more of the slightly sweet roast malts, more chocolate, and a nice creamy feel. Wonderful.

Cask at Darlington Snooker Club. Golden colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of fruity resiny citrus hop. Taste is malt caramel, fruity citrus hoppy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry fruity bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

8/5/2018. Cask at the Darlington Snooker Club. Pours dark mahogany ruby brown with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, ash and liquorice. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness, soft carbonation. Decent porter.

Cask at Darlington Snooker Club. Black colour, tan foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of roast malt, coffee & chocolate. Taste is roasted malty, chocolate, dark fruit and earthy bitter. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roast bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Tried at the Hop and Barley, Lincoln. Deep brown almost black colour with a tan head. Aroma roasted malty. Taste light bittersweet to light bitter. Really nice and tasty.
