Bottle from Ales by Mail. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Slight butterscotch on the nose, light malt and fruit. Taste has light bitterness, but a touch more butteriness. It’s ok I guess.

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Light golden with a head. The honey is extremely light, but perhaps best in its nose, as such it’s bland tasting.

On cask at Woodfest 2017 Castleford - Deep red to black body, off white lacing top. Nose is smokey, some molasses, treacle, some burnt hints too. Taste is lush, really heavy but with a sweet relief of a fruity toffee. Really good.
