Clear golden with a white head, big aroma of zesty, grassy hop. Flavour follows suit. Lemon, grapefruit, a bit of resinous pine too. Mice bittersweet finish. Tastes it's strength without overdoing it.

20/8/2023. Can shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours very dark mahogany brown/black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is nutty, dark fruits, dark malts, chocolate, cola, citrus, caramel, coffee, mild chilli. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness, puckering sours. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Nice warm and tart finish. Very nice, and best McColl's I've had.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Elusive online. Pours clear pale yellow with a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet, a bit grainy, some lemon rind, pine needles maybe. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Mellow sweetness to finish, some further grainy pale malts, straw, lemony hops. Not bad.
