ABV: 5.6%. Unclear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, woody, dark malt, oat, light dark dried fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, chocolate - roasted, wood, light dark dried fruit - yeast, light oxidide. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20190808]

Nonic pint draft at the Yorkshire Square Brewery in Torrance, California. The pour is a cascading cask draft orange golden with a foamy 1/2 inch off white head. The aroma is faint vanilla, soft sweet hay and grain. The taste is a proper bitter with toasted cereal grain, herbal grass and a bit of lemon toward the back. The palate is light bodied with low cask natural carbonation and a clean finish. Super well executed.

Mikkeller DTLA cask: pours yellow with a loose head. Aroma is corny, malty. Taste is sort of weird sweetness. Kind of like a refined malt liquor... weird. I do not really like it.

Tap. Pours clear reddish amber, large creamy beige head, great lacing . Aroma is malty, bread, caramel, toast, hint of penny. Flavors is light plus sweet, light bitter, creamy, toasty. Medium body, smooth.
