440ml can. Thick and black with a moderate off white head. Chocolate and caramel aroma, flavour is similar with boozy notes, presumably from the barrel aging, which bring surprising complexity for a relatively low ABV. Thick, sticky mouth feel, all in all rather excellent

Hazy golden beer, good white head.Tart grapefruit in the aroma but something a little biscuity too. Flavour has tart, fresh grapefruit, that nice maltiness again to even it out, a bit of sharp lemon too. Simple but refreshing and very drinkable.

Lattina. Un territorio olfattivo dominato dal luppolo. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la persistenza è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta opalescente. Il colore è giallo torbido. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è intenso. La continuità gustativa è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Il tetto della bocca riconosce indizi di miele, frutta secca, agrumi, pompelmo, ananas, mandarino, mango e frutta tropicale.

On tap at Arcade Beers, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of passionfruit, lacto and gentle sweetness. Flavour is moderately tart, with juicy passionfruit over a lacto base, with minimal residual sweetness. For a kettle sour, it's not bad; the passionfruit comes through nicely, without being muffled or artificial or too sweet. Decent.

440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 23. Misty yellow appearance, good white head. Lovely fresh juicy pale exotics of a papaya lychee and peach persuasion. Lilty vibes. Decent.

30th October 2023, Chez Sophie Monthly Gathering, five guys, beers and bollox. 440ml can from me: BB 3rd July 2024. Opague pale body, large white crown. Citrusy front with a pineapple lead, some grapefruit like flavours in there too.

Keg draught at Chesham Arms, Hackney. Very light gold and hazy with a head shaped like North America. Sort of. Big aroma of pineapple, white grapefruit flesh and lemon. Bittersweet taste, sweet sugary fruit to the fore with a good malt presence. Lots more grapefruit and slight bitterness on the finish. Carbonation on the low side. It is light all round for the ABV but there's enough flavour that I don't feel cheated. OK, there is a strange off-note right at the beginning of the sip but it fades. So I'm surprised by the lowish rates.
