We use traditional brewing methods to produce a varied range of modern beers focused on drinkability and quality using the finest of English grown malts and hops as well as selected high quality hops from around the world and our own strain of historic Sussex live yeast.
We are lucky to still be surrounded by hop gardens in this corner of Kent and source as many hops locally as we can. We showcases these hops with our monthly-changing Single Hop Pale series and Small Batch specials.

44cl Blik van de brouwerij. Troebelgele kleur, witte kraag.

Licht mistig gouden kleur, witte kraag. Groene thee, abrikoos, licht bloemig, iets granig, hint van grapefruit, lichtbittere finish. Lichte body. Wat vlak en saai.

Cask at the London and Country, Eastbourne. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malt and yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, smooth, earthy, herbal, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Greyfriar, Reading. Hazy orangey-amber with an off-white head. Nice gentle fizz - served in great condition, as I'd expect at this pub. Flavourwise there's bread dough and caramel and stewed plums, with a light but lovely note of fresh orange juice in the finish. It's ok, but it could do with a cleaner and crisper beer to allow the orange to properly shine through.
