Description
Second Wind Brewing is a craft microbrewery in the heart of historic downtown Plymouth. Our Taproom and outdoor Beer Garden opened to the public in May 2018. Early in 2019, our Howland Street facility reached full capacity and we leased a second property on Main Street later in the year. Construction of the second brewery and a larger taproom with a kitchen began in 2020. While the pandemic created significant delays, work is underway again as of March 2021 in hopes of a summer occupancy.

Second Wind's portfolio of beers is diverse, ranging from hoppy IPAs, to decadent stouts, fruited sours, refreshing lagers and wheat beers, and traditional European and American ales. We love experimenting on emerging styles that push boundaries while also respecting the classics that defined our craft.

16 oz. can. Thanks going to TJ on this trade. Aroma is mild vanilla, soft coconut, chocolate. The coconut lingers throughout the sip with the vanilla and chocolate malt tones complementing the coconut. Body maybe a touch lean but the flavor is popping.

Can (1/28/21) pour from Fort Point Market. It's a cloudy light brown-dark yellow with fair sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger width white foamy head with good retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is strong tropical and candied fruits, creamsicle. Taste follows aroma with late grain backbone. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, creamy texture, average carbonation, hint of pleasant alcohol warmth and finish as taste. Overall, all the right elements are here with good strength to aroma and taste with nice, sweet juice.

Aroma is moderately strong pineapple and sweet lemon. Taste is strong pineapple, milder coconut and background biscuit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with dry yeast and mild bitterness. Overall, decent.

Can from tfontana, thanks again. Hazy dirty lemon yellow with a decent sized frothy white head that slowly recedes. Lemony pith citrus and with hints of pineapple and resin with some sweet bread to bring it all together. Pretty nice

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks Tom! Aroma shows orange, tangerine, and yeast. Flavor is a bold array of citrus. Texture has a huge amount of juice. The juice is loose in this brew! No herb or floral here at all. All bold citrus. Really nice.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks Tom! Aroma is a mixture of pineapple, coconut, and malt. Flavor of coconut from the Sabro is pretty strong. Weak pineapple hint, with some bready malt. Soft mouth with some bitterness as it warms. Nice elixir.

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Hazy gold beer, a few white bubbles. Light and fairly dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Any watermelon is quickly overwhelmed by the overdone chilli. Light dry finish. Bah!
