Description
Second Wind Brewing is a craft microbrewery in the heart of historic downtown Plymouth. Our Taproom and outdoor Beer Garden opened to the public in May 2018. Early in 2019, our Howland Street facility reached full capacity and we leased a second property on Main Street later in the year. Construction of the second brewery and a larger taproom with a kitchen began in 2020. While the pandemic created significant delays, work is underway again as of March 2021 in hopes of a summer occupancy.

Second Wind's portfolio of beers is diverse, ranging from hoppy IPAs, to decadent stouts, fruited sours, refreshing lagers and wheat beers, and traditional European and American ales. We love experimenting on emerging styles that push boundaries while also respecting the classics that defined our craft.

Undated can shared by Jow on 8/21/25.
Light haze. Rusty, muted copper. Small, greyish head.
Musty, mousey, lots of cellar. Caramel, toast, vanilla and light butter (not diacetyl, I don't think).
Malty, soft, chewy caramel and a fruity acidity. Toast and hop bitterness on the finish. Love the fruitiness and malt. Nontraditional hop character but fine with me.

Dark sweet malty, notes of chocolate and caramel, liquorice, peppermint is far to OTT, big minty waves overbearing here, dark malty miry close. Not for me.

On tap at Tip Tap.  Pours a murky orange with some lacey white head.  Nose has stone fruits and some bubblegum, fruity, floral.  Flavor has some bitterness and some sweet orange, but then followed by mango and lychee.  Medium bodied with a little bitter bite.  Drinks easier than 8.8%.  7 4 7 4 13

Can pour from Andover Classic Wines. A hazy dark yellow with nice sparkle, finger-width off-white head with excellent retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong orange, melon, tropical fruit. Taste is somewhat astringent lemon (industrial cleanser), grain. Smooth, average carbonation, lingering bitterness in the finish. Aroma starts promising but taste disappoints. No canning date to know how old this is but no check-ins on UT for 5 months. May have suffered due to age.
