On tap at McGillicuddy's on 11/20/2019.
Appearance: glossy burnt orange color with a slim cap of a little white foamy head which dissipated fairly quick and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: some grapefruity to piney hops, light bubblegum and a light biscuity malty tone
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a light sweet to bittersweet quality; finishes with that bubblegum sweetness and grapefruity character
Texture: medium bodied, leaning to being sessionable, somewhat smooth
Overall: hmmm...the bubblegum thing? Isn't that a flaw of NEDIPA's? I think so but since this wasn't overbearing, I'll offer up some "kind numbers" on this.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: super dark brown to almost black color with a three finger eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light messy lace
Aroma: black coffee roast, lean citrusy & earthy hop tones, subtle piney hops, sly dark chocolate tones and a light sweet wafer maltiness
Flavor: pretty much mirrors the aromas but seems to leave out that dark chocolate character - so basically - roasty, citrusy & piney sweet and a light malty vibe; finishes mostly with the black coffee roast and citrusy & earthy hoppiness and dry
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper; light smoothness and somewhat tracking on the "palate wrecking" capabilities - maybe on a medium sort of strength of those capabilities
Overall: I did like this black IPA for the most part but it's not a high top tier one. I'd still bang this again.

Can to mug.
Appearance: pale yellow color with a sly transparency about it and a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: biscuity/bready malts with a light earthy/floral hoppy character underneath lightly
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a clean earthy, floral and malty quality; finishes malty with a light floral hop tone
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, smooth along the tongue
Overall: I say a nicely done Kellerbier worth coming back to.

Can to English pint glass. Can dated 06/30/2022 and this was consumed on 07/28/2022.
Appearance: pretty thick orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mango, pineapple, peach and some light lemon; light bready malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine juicy sweet to light bittersweet quality; finishes semi-juicy sweet of the pineapple, peach and lemon tones with a touch of dryness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; good smoothness but also a little bit of hop burn then just a speck of dryness trying to permeate the tongue
Overall: pretty nicely done for the most part, just clean up that hop burn, Aeronaut and this will be a really good one.

Can to tulip.
Appearanace: burnt auburn color with a light transparency about it and a finger's worth of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: passion fruity sweet and tart tones, pineapples, cherries and some oranges mesh with soft lacto/yogurty notes then a light malt base
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fair tart to sour with a sturdy sweetness rising to practically be on the same level with the tart and sour qualities; finishes more with the passion fruit, pineapples and oranges
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; subtle smoothness but also some of the tart and sour character seems to embrace a subtle assertiveness with the tongue
Overall: wow, what a mix of fruits in this, so much I didn't even hear the fact that someone told me this is supposed to be a Berliner weisse. Well, I'm just going to say this is a nice fruited tart ale and I would return to this beer for that reason.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: murky bronzed orange color with a two finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy to orangey to semi-grassy hop spicy characters mesh with a clean malt bill
Flavor: meshes together the prior noted aromas then a mild aftertaste of orangey to citrusy hoppiness
Texture: between light to medium bodied, some sessionability about it, finishes semi-smooth and somewhat crisp
Overall: nicely done IPA for the most part but to me the body seems thicker for the suggested style, I'd still have this again.

Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: ruddy burnt orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head, mellow lace
Aroma: melon, sweet resin, semi-earthy with clean malts
Flavor: prior mentioned aromas wrap up sweetly and earthy, mild resiny/earthy aftertaste
Texture: light bodied, could easily slam several cans of this in a row if I wanted to, semi-dry resiny finish
Overall: definitely a very nice session IPA worthy of returning to.

Canned Feb 18, 2025, drunk9/17/25.
Clear raspberry-copper-amber. Large, off-white head, good retention.
Well-rounded lacto notes with lessened fruit character on account of its age. But everything is soft and well-done. No hard acidity or cheap fruit notes. Cherry is prominent yet, with papaya and blood orange. Lots of earthiness and mineral with crusty wheat. Clean.
Juicy with lots of pineapple and papaya. Hint of sweet cherry and a round, soft, chewy wheat character giving ample texture and depth. Lightly tart; just enough so, with no punchy lactic notes nor any sugary notes or dominating fruit.
