Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 29A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 56 (BBF: NOV 2019). AROMA: medium grape-ish aroma with a slight citrus note. malt background, low, with a slight sweet note. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. medium-low white head with medium-low retention. FLAVOR: similar to the aroma with medium-low white grape note (citrus), medium esters (oranges, lemons) and a faintly sweet malt background. high bitterness with a very dry and bitter finish. unbalanced. TASTE: medium-light body with medium carbonation. slight polyphenolic astringency. OVERALL: a grape ale with nice notes but with excessive bitterness.
