New River Brewery was established in July 2015 on the banks of the New River in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. After a lot of hard work honing our brewing skills, meticulous processes and fabulous recipes, we have gained a strong reputation for brewing the kind of beers people love to drink. In fact we have become known as the brewery to go to for reliable, honest, great tasting beers that result in good things being said about them – and we can’t argue with that!

Cask @ GBBF, Birmingham. Small head with short duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are herbs, spices, flowers, malt, fruits and has and odd herbal finish.

17/01/2020. Cask at the 11th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours clear pale golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of ginger, biscuit, caramel, hop, malt and flowers. Medium to heavy sweetness, light bitterness, slightest touch of heat from the ginger. Moderate body, sticky texture, soft carbonation.

Cask at GBBF ‘19, day 4. 09/08/19. Golden with a decent off white cap that retains well. Nose is malty, grains, fruit esters, straw. Taste comprises biscuit, fruit esters, grass, faint citric peel, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Passable affair.

Cask at New Moon, London, 18th September 19. Pours a dark amber red. Aroma is fruit, dark fruit, spikey hops. Taste is bitter, full, love the bitterness. Good one

Fra cask på GBBF aug-19: lett uklar kobbergylden med ok skum. Fruktige toner fra Amarillohumlen som er brukt - melon, papaya, lime, gress og grapefrukt. Fin maltkropp. Fruktig afslutning med mersmag og et strejf af hvid peber.
