Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours almost black with minimal cream head. Thereโs lactose and roast malts in the aroma, with a trace of smokiness too. In the mouth it has a creamy texture with flavours of dark fruits, liquorice, and roasted malts plus hints of toffee and cocoa. The fruits win out in he finish. This is rather nice.

Craft Islington. Cask. Semi opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Dry light semi sweet malts. Bitter hops. Touch of spice. Ripe fruits on the back end. Harsh floral bitterness to close. A bit rough edged.
