Description
Founded in 2013, we are a microbrewery specialising in bottom-fermented beers, more commonly known as lagers.*
For many years, lagers in Britain have been dominated by global brands and industrial production methods. The focus has been on branding, not flavour. We are reinventing British lagers by returning to the traditional methods that originally made it the most popular beer style in the world. We will not compromise flavour and we will not be the official lager of the next major international sporting event.

Bottle online from Stori, Bala. Pours unclear deep amber with beige foam. Aroma: malts dominate, caramel, red fruits. Taste: light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter, toasted malts. Medium body with soft carbonation. As another correspondent notes, this was Vienna lager-ish.

Bottle ordered from Tap Door. Aroma is sweet and doughy with spice and citrus. Cloudy amber as opposed to gold. Thick foamy white head. Initial bitter grains and booze with a big dollop of malts. Metallic edge. Then develops a juicy fruit. Marmalade. Boozy finish. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Yes it is extra strong lager and also decent lager.

Delt med Rune på The International Brewing & Cider Festival 2024, Manchester. Amber. Klar. Høyt kremaktig skum som daler sakte & etterlater litt lacing. Lett maltaroma. Smaken søt. Karamell. Nesten ikke bitterhet.

Draft at Bottle & Barrel, Aberystwyth. Poured a clear golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is malt, lager yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, malt, yeasty, light floral, cereal, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Heineken will be quaking in their boots … not!
