Can. Somewhat hazy orange amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma of apricot, pineapple, orange, crackers. Fruity but dryish without much in the way of body before moderate bitterness that's about enough. Refreshing on a hot night. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Cloud Catcher on 06 Apr 2015 at 07:47 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Bottle (orange label). Golden amber with a large white head that lasts OK and laces well. Aroma of melon, passionfruit, apricot, grapefruit, a little bread. Very light bodied, high carbonation. There’s some supporting malt - bread and caramel - behind the tropical fruit and it makes it slightly more savoury than Pacific Ale, but it really lacks presence for 5.5%. Quite dry and the end with moderate bitterness. Just not quite my sort of thing.

Draught at Oakley Hotel. Hazy orange gold colour, white foam head and aroma of tropical fruit, hops. Taste is malt, caramel, stone fruit, with citrusy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry hoppy bitter finish. Quite drinkable

375ml can at BCEC, served very cold. Refreshing thanks to a hefty disease of tropical fruit hop flavours, I enjoyed this one

(Can - but 2023 version is 5.4%) Pours brown with red hints and a decent off-white head. Gentle aroma of pine and citrus with toffee and floral hints. Light body with decent carbonation. Refreshing start is followed by dark toffee with hints of tea, and then a growing bitterness for decent bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Can, 12C. Dark amber with a cm of beige head that lasts OK. 3+ Bread with singed crust aroma. Rich and welcoming with bread and dark sugar before a little smoke and quite firm bitterness sweep that away. Always worth a try; maybe this year's is the best it's been .

Can. Fairly cloudy orange with a lasting cm of fluffy white head. Gentle aroma of melon, vague citrus, crackers. Fruity with more defined citrus that gives it some shape. Low bitterness but enough for a finish. Refreshing.

375ml can into schooner glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. Hazy golden beer with high fine carbonation, solid head of white foam. Patchy lacing. Nice nose, tropical fruit, turkish delight, orange juice. Nicely drinkable with a mild lingering bitterness. No world beater but nice enough.
