Still going with the Counter Culture moniker post sell-out, I see. Can. Just unclear pale amber with a cm of white head. Aroma of tenor register citrus, passionfruit, some mango and melon, bread. Bittersweet taste with first citrus - more grapefruit than kumquat - prominent, then mango and passionfruit come through and finally it's a bit resinous towards the firmly bitter but not quite dry finish. Complex and fresh hop aromatics here - I guess the Galaxy, Eclipse, Enigma and Vic Secret are all Tasmanian? Good.

Bottle. Only a touch of smoke this year - chocolate, honey tiny teddies, a little roast. Decisive bitter finish makes it. Involving drop with fine balance.

Can split at GBBF'19 Day 1, 06/08/19. Hazed golden blonde with an off white cap. Nose is sticky tropical fruits, mango, sweet malts, grass. Taste comprises mango flesh, light pine, tangerine, papaya, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of juicy hop bitterness. Not bad.

Pours black with a honeycomb-coloured head.Nose shows bready and toasty malt, soft roast, some nutty notes, soft cocoa along with some gentle earthy and spicy hops.Flavours include more chocolate, bready malt, toasty notes, more nutty notes too. A lot of depth in the malt character. Slight treacle notes also, or burnt sugar.

Perhaps a little drier this year but again nicely integrated flavours - a little smoke, singed toffee, spiced bitterness. Shaded by last year but has become a seasonal worth getting a few of - it does seem to improve for 12-18 months.

From a 500ml can on 14/2/2021. Pours a clear light golden with a medium bright white head. The nose is very modest - a touch of grass and the barest hint of coconut. The modesty carries through to the taste - there's hints of honey, coconut and vanilla, but it's quite restrained. Much more prominent is the fairly sharp, lingering lemony bitterness which finishes things off. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Not very hazy like in look or character. Just okay.

Can at the Great British Beer Festival 2019 - London. Pours clear gold with a frothy, yellow-white head. Very good, with notes of semi-ripe citrus, mild citric tang, bready pale malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, restrained bitterness. Good beer.
