16 oz. can. Pours black, with a small, fleeting, tan head. The aroma is mediocre coffee, chicory, black strap molasses, and pecan. Sweet and sugary, with a funky, sticky bitterness. Fair stout.

16 oz. can. Pours brown, with a medium, beige head. The aroma is pumpernickel, black pepper, toffee, and a little mint. Dry and malty, and quite bitter. Bready, chalky, and a little hot. Interesting, but not great.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear, brown color, with a small, tan head. The nose is toffee, apple juice, wheat bread, walnut, and basil. Sweet and sugary, with only a hint of bitterness. Light to medium body, with a syrupy, slick palate. This is fair, malty amber, if a little cloying.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2019 - London. Pours clear red-brown with a light, frothy off-white head. Holds notes of tangy berries, lightly toasted bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Finishes with more tangy berries. A little awkward.
