Mildly hazed bright orange-copper body is topped by a large, fluffy white head showing strong retention.
Playful citrus and light stonefruit even, in the nose, showcase well-extracted hop aromatics that are backed by vibrant, yet not overly sweet honey-like malts. Complex aromatics span the juicy fruit/tropical fruit/citrus fruit spectrum and there’s a touch of biscuity/grainy malt, as well, for additional structure. No alcohol or flaws noted.
Soft and lightly sweet on the palate, the malts are presented richly extracted, while tight carbonation and a healthy dose of bitterness help to clear the palate and keep things quite crisp on the end. Marmalade, ruby red grapefruit, nectarine, mango....all kinds of enjoyable flavors. Hop acidity is pretty under control, though there’s a bit of resinous burn that probably gains a bit of strength from some light alcohol, mixing on the finish. Other than that, the beer was very, very drinkable, well-attenuated and all, with no dirty flavors and maybe just a touch of blandness from the hop particulate in suspension.

Bottle via trade, thanks Adamjackson. Orangée, col crémeux blanc. Arôme offre un bouquet fruité laissant une pointe de thé vert sur cette impression de sac de houblons très frais rappelant le Centennial. Palais est malté note pâle sur pointe de pils, houblonné résineux, pointe tropicale avec un fini épais et une note agrumes fort plaisante du Citra.

1 liter growler purchased at the brewery shared at Adrien’s going away party. Mostly clear gold with thin lasting head. Aroma is fruity with cantaloupes, white grapes and mild white grape essence. The flavor is about a total duplicate of the aroma with a clean and very refreshing finish. I’m excited to see what else Pete brews in this series this summer. Well made APA.

Poured from growler thanks Airforcehops. Pours clear gold with a nice white head. Aromas of fresh grapes melon and yeast. Taste is clean and crisp very refreshing.

1L Growler from AFH. 4 ounce pours. Dark orange, 1 finger head that faded fast. Aroma is very nice...grapes, melon, some kiwi and a really nice yeast presence. Good mouthfeel, crisp and clean. The hop taste shines well. Very earthy and the bitterness is well balanced. . i wish the mouthfeel was a bit better but it’s still nice.

Poured from bottle hazy gold with a one finger white head. Aromas of fresh citrus grass and crisp hops. Taste is smooth and clean with citrus and pine notes. Pours hazy gold into a shaker. White head with excellent retention recedes leaving gloppy lacing to crater. Toast and tropical fruit aromas. Thin to medium bodied with hay and bread upfront turning to mango and tangerine before the lasting bitter resin finish.

Poured from bottle dark hazy amber color with a one finger ft thy head. Aromas of resin pine smoke and citrus. Taste is spicy with hints of citrus vanilla and caramel with a lingering bitter finish.

Thanks AFH for giving this one to me. Kept cold since purchase. very cloudy light yellow 1 finger big bubbly head. Aroma is so clean, refreshing, really crisp like fresh cut grass, orange peel, grapefruits. Taste is slightly sweet at the finish. lingering table sugar. Up front. gorgeous 80+ IBU beer, great mouthfeel, crisp, really refreshing. I could rink 2 liters of this.
