On tap at Micro Bar, pours black with a tiny brown head. Aroma is quite salty, with plenty of brine, salt, and light roast. Flavour is quite tasteful, with lots of salt, lacto, citric brine, and a hint of roast. Salty and briny. Unusual, but works pretty well.

Taster showing moderately filtered lightly hazy straw with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows pronounced notes of clean mango and a strong NE style malt/adzuki note throughout. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Pineapple and mango forward with a light malt backbone and subtle sweetness. Mild grapefruit bitterness on the finish. Very crushable.

Can date of 5-9-19. Aroma has distinct lime peel. Lemon juice. Flavor didn’t surprise me it’s a mixture of lime peel, lemon, and mild white bready malt. Toast. Has tartness without bitterness. Zippy carbonation in a light body. This is a poolside or beach beer. Nothing too flashy but it gets the job done.

Can pour into shaker pint glass from Total Wine & More, Shrewsbury. Appearance is deeply hazy yellow with lots of bubbles sticking to the edges of the glass, along with effervescent sparkle, thin cap of off-white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is grape, grapefruit, lemon. Taste is sweet white grape, lemon, dank, late mild pine and bready yeast. Palate is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, lively carbonation and finish as taste with late crisp bitter. Overall, not the most complex, but strong flavor and not the typical citrus, tropical fruit, grapefruit. Good.
