Description
Created in Birmingham in 2016 by cousins Josh and Calum, GlassHouse Beer Co. has grown in leaps and bounds on the back of its innovative vegan beers.
Graduating from Josh’s mum’s greenhouse in 2018 (where the brewery gets its name), GlassHouse had a rocky period over the pandemic but managed to push through by producing a great range of cans.
GlassHouse beer isn’t fined or filtered, and while it has been known to produce a milk stout or two, its beers are typically vegan. While they’re available nationally, the team’s glare is firmly fixed on improving and supporting the Birmingham beer scene.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Just a mild haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, starts smooth, develops decent fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Light smooth pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Cooling pine. A light savoury hop, a bitter edge. Light bright hop fruits, a decent smorgasbord of citrus, stone fruits and light tropical fruits. Light crisp finish. Tidy.

Panda from Colin. Cheers. Dark hazy orange. Thin frothy bubbly white head. Aroma has fruit with a dankness and resinous streak. Flavourwise it has a resinous bitterness over sweet fruit. Chewy. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice.

(Draft at Akkurat, Stockholm, 4 Oct 2025) Hazy yellow colour with lasting, white head. Fruity nose with citrus, orange, peaches, grass and white bread. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of orange, grass, white bread, pine needles, oats and a mild citric/grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Rich aromatic hop profile and a soft malt base. Quite drinkable. Very nice
