Bottle picked up at Morrissons, Aylesbury 8th August 2006, and drank this that evening on a narrowboat sat outside the Great Western Arms, Aynho. Brown in colour, malty aroma, malty taste, bit sweet, didn’t get to drink all of this as the friend who I passed a Duvel to could’nt get on with that so I swapped for this, think I did well out of the deal.

[Cask at GBBF] Pale amber. Sweaty fruit aroma. Sweet and light bodied sugar water with a vague dash of malt. Dusty finish with rather low bitterness. Dull.

[Cask at GBBF] Clear amber. Sweetish and lightly roasty. Medium bodied and somewhat fruity with notes of sulphur. Not very interesting.

[Cask at GBBF] Clear golden. Some interesting peachy hops up front. Sweet and gently malty with vanilla, tangerine and spun sugar. Medium bitterness.

Cask@Anchor&Hope, Salisbury. Dark amber color, small off-white head. Roasted malty nose with hints of licorice. Toasted malty, dry flavor. Some dried fruits and bitterness in the aftertaste.

[Cask at GBBF 2005] An orange beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty - but quite light. The flavor is boring with light notes of caramel, leading to a light hoppy dry end.

Cask handpull at Pakenham Arms, London. Golden/copper, thin white head. Citrus minerality on aroma.l Nice hops. Bit thin in mouth, then nice drying earthy finish. Nice session bitter.

Beautiful amber color. The aroma is malty with a vanilla touch. The taste is clean, a bit malty, some caramel and a good bitterness. Strong palate, with a light fruitness as well.

[Cask at GBBF 2005] A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, while the flavor is sweet and primarily fruity, but also with hoppy notes and a thin body. A boring IPA.
