Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 20th October 2024. Deep sepia black with pale tan foam and spot lacing. Roasty malts aroma. Coffee roastiness in-mouth with bitter chocolate. A hint of smokiness in a roasty finish. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

ABV: 5.3%. Murky matt medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, pine - fruity hops, minerals, fruity hops - stone fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit - fruity hops, pine, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity hops, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20191011]

On cask. Appearance - milky yellow with a creamy off white head. Nose - papaya and peach, some orange zest. Taste - papaya, orange and a bit of dirty yeast. Palate - creamy and close to medium bodied. Dry, zesty finish. Overall - good.

27/9/2024. Cask at St. Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours cloudy/murky mustard gold with a small frothy lasting white head. Aroma is orange, peach, tropical fruits, coconut, white grape, gooseberry, slightly soapy, soft husky edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, touch tart. Medium body, smooth, slightly prickly carbonation. Enjoyed this.

Cask at St Albans beer & cider festival 2024, St Albans, Herts. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a decent white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, orange, grapefruit, pineapple taste and aroma. Really tasty sabro action here as expected.
