Keg at the Fat Cat Brewery Tap, Norwich, 27/01/24. Pitch black with a good sized lasting tan head. Nose is mellow roast, chocolate, vanilla, hint of coffee. Taste comprises roast malts, modest coffee presence, cocoa powder, light roast, brown sugar dusting. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close. Okay stout but needs ramping up to deliver something you'd put the name Tiramisu to!

Half-pint (Keg) at one of the bars inside Mercato Metropolitan on 20th November 2023. Hazy golden pour, white crust. Slight citrus aroma and taste, pleasant enough without getting me too excited.

Keg at LBA Fest 23. Aroma has figgy sweetness and a coffee edge. Opaque ruby tinged brown. Thin creamy off-white head recedes. A spur coffee berry streak to the fore. Underlying figs and burnt caramel. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Sticky Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Makes me think of a Belgian beer.

Keg at the Italian Job - Canary Wharf. Pours mostly clear deep orange-good with a small, foamy off-white head. Medium sweet flavour, ample saison yeast, some dry biscuits, a little grass and straw. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, bready malts, yeast expression. Simple but drinkable.
