(Draught at Italian Job, Chiswick, London, 27 May 2022) Cloudy golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, peaches, papaya and grass. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, peaches, bread, herbs (basil?) and a balanced citric/tropical bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh, tasty and juicy. Very nice.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, good cream colour head. Briny nose along with a touch of slightly vegetal Prickly Pear. Smooth palate, slightly soft and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation coming through on the back end. Slightly soft malts bring a light creamy sweetness. The Agave and Prickly Pear combo is an inspired one. Floral juicy fruits with a mild sweetness that sits very well against the smooth salinity and slightly tartness in this Gose. Finishes airy and semi dry. Really enjoying the left field flavours of this one.

On keg @ the Orb, Darlington. Appearance - deep amber to brown. Off white head. Nose - prune, raisin, nutmeg and cinnamon. Taste - cherry, prune and general feeling of woodspice. And cakey. Palate - medium plus bodied, creamy middle with a sweet but tangy finish. Overall - lovely stuff.
