From our independent brewery in picturesque Devon we brew in a traditional way but with our own interpretations of classic styles, using only 100% British grown ingredients.

Cask at the Harp, Covent Garden on 4th June 2025. Thickly hazy dullish amber with shallow foam and scant lacing. Spicy fruits and malts in aroma. Rich and harmonious blend of hops, tangy fruits, smokes and spices - some savoury - make for an adventurous liquid pass. Finish is of citrus and herby spices. Full bodied with an engaging texture.

440ml can from The Jolly Vintner, Tiverton. Drank at home on 13th May 2025. Pale golden body, decent white head. 100% British Ingredients apparently, well they didn't come together to produce a very good Festbier in my opinion, this wasn't malty or laden with flavour, just a bog standard Lager. It wasn't a bad beer, just a poor Festbier.

Keg at Anspach & Hobday, Bermondsey, as part of their Utopian takeover. Opaque chestnut. Foamy creamy beige head. Aroma is malty with a creamy coffee streak. Initial coffeee and citrus wave. A hint of charcoal. Underlying flittering malts. Sourness continues into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft slightly fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Characterful stuff.
