Cask (gravity) @ GWBCF2011 - Great Welsh Beer and Cider Festival, Cardiff Interantional Arena, Mary Ann Street, Cardiff, Wales.Clear dark brown colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark roasted notes, keller, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, berries - blackcurrant, dark malt, dark roasted, earthy, chocolate - coffee notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110616]

Cask@GWBCF2011. Very deep amber colour, close to black, with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild roasted malts, maple syrup, mild wood and some dark dry fruits. Flavour is quite much the same. More like a dark mild than a stout in my opinion.
