Appearance is black, oily, no head at all. Aroma is lots of rum and barrel, dark malt, leathery hints, coffee, dark chocolate, tar, whiskey, more oaky barrel. Taste is rich dark chocolate, burnt treacle, scorched dark malt, overdone fruitcake, raisiny malt, rum, oaky boozy barrel, almost an ashy smoky note, boozy chocolatey finish. Nice and rich.

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge. Remaining white head, hazy golden-yellowish body, rings of lace down the glass. Promising floral fruity aromas, hints of spices. Hop fruity taste with moments of grapefruit, peaches and juicy oats, lightly spices. Oily hops to the finish, mid-dry. Pretty decent. Okay with our Sunday turkey dish. (Tromsø, 11.06.2023).

Can from Middle Farm, Firle. Coffee and waffle in the aroma. Lasting coffee like foam. Actually a fantastic Stout that is delightfully creamy and sweet. Could enjoy this any day.
