Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (20/09/2022) - hazed up golden yellow with a white head. Bold fruity forward with stone fruit notes of soft mango and peach, succulent juicy nectarine, supported by some semi sweet dense malts, finish is balanced piney bitter hoppy. Good stuff.

Bottle, 75cl, at Jæren Ølfestival. A black one, topped by a dense, small, light tan head. The aroma is lightly peated, lightly sourish, with roasted malts, coffee notes, licorice, meaty scents and a touch of toast and booze. It’s full bodied, warming and nicely carbonated, sweet and with a touch of roasted malts kind of bitterness. Roasted malts, some sourish notes, licorice, some meaty hints and toast, along with a boozy touch. Everlasting finish with some medicine like spiced and roasted malts kinda maltyness. Sure a nice one, but it’s a bit unusual too. 220813

Shared bottle at Bryne tasting. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma of roast malts, brown seaweed, iodine, peat smoke. Peaty and roasty flavour, not quite my cup of tea.
