Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 19/05/24. Clear deep amber pour topped with a fast escaping white cap. Nose is tarte fruit esters, light acidic nostril twinge, vinous, herb, damp oak. Taste comprises vanilla oak, stewed fruits, vinous, quince, herb, grape must, tannins, damp wood, acidic bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a bracing puckering bite. Okay sour if nothing I'd take on again ... at least it is actually sour unlike modern day pastry pretence!

Purchased before the invasion of Ukraine. A very light haze on this amber beer, a few cream colour bubbles fall far short of forming a head. Light palate, fairly dry, decent superfine carbonation. Very tart ripe fruits, prunes and apricots obvious. Bit of a gluey vibe on the back end when a little lemon acid starts to bite. A dry finish. A couple of shades too tart for me and I can happily do without any glue flavours.

330ml bottle @ Christmas tasting in blackhaddock's beer cave. Misty peachy amber appearance, no head to speak of. Good apricot aroma. Quite tart, sharp sour edge, vinegary moments with good apricot notes.

Christmas Gathering, 18th December 2023. 5 guys at my gaff drinking beer and talking bollocks. 375ml bottle, one of only 681 produced. Murky apricot colour, white collar, no head. Tart and pretty sour, vinegar like in fact, add in an apricot or three for effect.
