Description
Founded in 2017, Cerveja Nortada has as a mission to infect Portugal with the passion for good beer. Produced in heart of the city of Porto, it is with pride and dedication that rolled up their sleeves to produce unique craft beers and truly democratic. The factory Nortada operates as a Brewpub and can follow the production process, while enjoying a space where beer, food and rock 'n' roll come together in perfect tune.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 7A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L1115 (BBF 02/19). AROMA: medium-low cereal husk aroma with low background toasty malt presence. APPEARANCE: light amber color and cristal clear. medium beige head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium cereal husk flavor. low malt background with a toffee-like character. PALATE: medium to medium-light body with moderate carbonation. faint astringency. OVERALL: a vienna lager with execution problems.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 7A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L1 048 (BBF 08-2018). AROMA: predominant medium cereal husk aroma with medium-low toasty malt notes. slight caramel notes. APPEARANCE: dark golden color and clear. medium white head with low retention. TASTE: predominant cereal husk note, followed by a low toasty and slight caramelly malt note. medium-low bitterness with a semi-sweet finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium carbonation. tanninic astringency. OVERALL: a Vienna Lager which isnt a traditional Vienna Lager, with a lot of cereal husk notes and recipe formulation errors.

APPEARANCE: gold color and just slightly hazy. medium white head with medium-low retention. TASTE: medium wheat with a bready character. medium-low clove. slight yeast flavor. low bitterness with a semi-sweet finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium-low to low carbonation. OVERALL: an OK weissbier less intense on the flavor and a bit undercarbonated.

AROMA: medium-low hop aroma with floral notes. medium-low malt background, neutral, sweet, with a slight underatenuated character. low cereal husk notes. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. medium white head with good retention. TASTE: medium hop flavor (herbaceous and slight floral/citrus). background of neutral malt with a sweet and slight underatenuated character. faint cereal husk. medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish that endures. PALATE: medium-ligh body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an IPA with an odd character and some cereal husk presence.

APPEARANCE: gold color and cristal clear. medium white head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with a piny/floral medium presence. slightly sweet neutral malt background. medium-high bitterness with a bitter aftertaste. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an IPA with hop presence that resembles an American IPA malt-wise and English IPA hop-wise.

F: snow white, big, good retention. C: gold, clear. A: malty, mellow tangerine, bit orange, some tropical fruits. T: malty backbone, citrus, tangerine, tropical fruits, medium body and carbonation, very average taste, aroma is more promising but all together nothing special, 33cl bottle from Supercor supermarket @ Rua de Aleixo da Mota in Porto.
