0.33l bottle many thanks to Lore. Clean orange body with a thin white head. Bold bourbon and orange zest with notes of burnt sugar, nutmeg and some vanilla. It also shows some acidic apple notes. Taste of caramel, bourbon, nutmeg, hint of chocolate and a tuch of cloves. Much smoother than what I'd expect from the aroma. Long lasting sweet finish with some lingering booze, but nothing harsh. I like this beer a lot. Thanks Lore!

Poured from 330mL bottle (bb 2024/11). Clear-ish copper brown with small off-white head. Woody, touch of sourness, okay.

330ml @ Phill's. Appearance: hazy copper with a tan head. Aroma: weird bourbon barrel notes like wood with some acidity. Some caramel. Taste: along the same lines, creamy notes from oak are more noticeable than in aroma. Overall: better than their BBA Doppelbock, but it doesn't really deliver as North American BBA beers.

330ml @ Phill's. Appearance: dark copper with a beige head. Aroma: very weird barrel, somewhat chemical, artificial with apples notes and dark fruits. Taste: roasted malts, bourbon, weird wood, some malty notes. Overall: despite the taste being a bit better than the aroma, it's pretty much a meh beer.

Poured from 330mL bottle. Slightly hazed mahogany brown with small beige head. Quite woody American oak, mild bourbon, lightly toasted nuts, a little bit thin.

330mL bottle, pours clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is loaded with big bourbon barrels, toasted nuts, and some dark fruits. Flavour is boozy and kind of thin and acidic, with toasted nuts, red fruits, and some bourbon barrels. Rather thin-bodied, but the bourbon character has a nice dimension to it. A bit messy and lacking cohesion, but it's pleasant.

Keg at CW Family & Friends, Session 2 @Manchester Central, 22/02/20. fruit smoothie orange looker with no head. Nose is mango pulp, ripe tropical fruits, grass, sticky fruits. Taste comprises mango flesh, lactic pinch, straw, light salt kiss, ripe tropicana. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest pucker. Good fruit profile ... would have liked a more sour approach though.

deep dark brown colour, half inch of creamy beige head; aroma and taste of dried sour cherry, toasted rye bread, roasted sunflower seeds, minimal dark chocolate and plum jam; quite good one

mahogany colour, one inch of creamy beige-ish ecru head; aroma of vanilla, toffee, dried fruits like raisisns and maybe sour cherry, (dark) chocolate and whisky notes; taste is similar to the aroma with less intensity and more definite alcoholic spiciness; really good one!

So now I know why the gut doible-checked that I wanted this beer... Aroma had sweet stone fruit with a spicy edge. Very pale hazy dark orange that's almost white. Bubbly blotchy white head. Medium bitter with a spicy citrus edge. Light. Thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Really quite boring. A big Soda water streak.
