Tap at the brewery. Pours black, with a nice, foamy, tan head. The nose is big coffee, walnut, black bread, and a dark chocolate finish. Dry and roasty, with a hard, bracing bitterness. Medium to heavy body, dusty, and sticky. Aggressive and quality.

On cask at the brewery. Hazy, orange color, with a big, fine, off-white head. The nose is butterscotch, mellow pine, smooth orange cream, cloves, and coriander. Sweet and malty, with a bright, enjoyable bitterness. Medium body, smooth, and nicely crisp. Easy and aromatic. Lovely.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. A light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly white head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light malts, some lager tang in the mid. Floral citrus. Much more floral than citrus. Smooth and semi dry finish. Not a bad cask lager, tricky fuckers to pull off and this does a decent job.

Cask at GBBF 2023 - Day 1. Pours clear gold with a modest, bubbly white head. Light to medium sweet flavour, a little fruity bite, citrus, white grape. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Decent condition. Sweet finish, pale bread, floral notes, ripe lemon, lime oil. So so.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 1, 02/08/22. Lightly hazed golden orange with a white head. Nose is bitter orange, dank strokes, pine nip, melon. Taste comprises mixed tropical fruits, grass, pine needle, papaya, light dank strokes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close spliced with juicy hop bitterness. Not bad.

3/8/2022. Cask at GBBF 2022, day 2. Pours Pours almost clear dark golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, orange, biscuit, grapefruit. Quite sweet with moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily and watery, soft carbonation. Didn’t enjoy this so much.
