Sample at the New Mexico WinterBrew 2022 festival, 1/22/22. Clear copper medium frothy white head, good retention. Aroma of smoke, pale malt, hints of caramel and stone fruit. Taste is caramel, strong smoke, stone fruit. Thanks Sidetrack for putting this on at a festival. Almost worthy of Schlenkerla.

Cask at GBBF'19, day 3, 08/08/19. Clear golden amber with an off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is sweet malts, straw, citric peel Taste comprises fruit slice, stewed fruit, biscuit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Passable.

Draft at brewery. Medium, clear amber, small tight head. Malty aroma, light, brown bread, licorice (faint). Taste is more full, robust malts, bread, toast, gingerbread (light). Smooth, full mouthfeel.

Draft at brewery. Orange golden, light creamy head. Weizen aroma is on teack with notes of banana, bubblegum and clove. Taste folliws with a nice weight to it as well. A bit sweet, but pretty damn close ( a fluffy head would have sealed the deal)

Draft at brewery. Hazy pour, milky, small, fine head, streaky lacing. Aroma and taste are what you'd expect for the style, citrusy with a light tang.

ABV: 5.3%. Clear medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, fruity malt, caramel, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, fruity yeast, pale malt, fruity malt, caramel, light citrus - fruit peel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190807]

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, mild grain. Ripe citrus. Light dry finish. The dullest US cask beer on offer this year. Experimental hop as well but it just tasted very tired.
