Description
Let’s raise a glass and toast the way it should be - local beer brewed by local beer lovers using local ingredients, including fresh water from our very own Hertfordshire borehole.
No fuss, no pretension - just passion and a year’s hard work at our nearby farm to brew ales we, and hopefully the people of St. Albans, can be proud of.
Here’s to radically better beer!

A quick half of gravity at the Hertford North railway station while I waited to be picked up. A pretty chestnut brown in the glass and plenty of lacing. The taste was malt, bitter hops and something strongly metallic that I have noticed in their other beers. It was well kept beer so I won't blame the venue and I question whether it is just down to my own palate, which is possible. Whatever, at the end of the day I didn't like it.
