Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Clear copper with an amber glow. It's a grittier-malty bitter with a grainy aroma and taste, and has an easy strength.

Half-pint, cask ale, enjoyed outside at Fox and Goose. Hazy yellow-orange coloured body. Patchy white surface. Fair lacing. Mid-sweet fruity aromas, hints of berry skins. Berry-fruity flavours, mid-sweet. Moderate bitter ending. Easy to drink. Satisfying. (Hebden Bridge 04.07.2018).

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Cloudy deeper amber with a thick creamy-frothy head. Smoothish, but its strength is also evident, although a fruitiness is found behind this. Aroma is fruit.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Hazy yellow-green with next to no head. Citrus fruity and its hop has a density to it.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Cloudy amber with a head. It's a dry watery tasting ale, although hoppy. Lacks character.

Gravity cask at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate. Slightly purplish brown, translucent and flat. Coffee grounds aroma with a nutty character. There's also a lovely piney hop note on the nose. Sweet taste with the bitterness of the black coffee and pine needle asserting itself. Body is a bit lifeless which is a shame because this is otherwise a pretty cracking beer.
