Can. Hazy gold beer, tidy bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry with a decent fine minerally crispness. Light malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Hops deliver a savoury skunk and a crisp pine and some slightly bitter citric peel. Whisper of tangerine in there and a trace or blood orange. Smooth but fairly dry finish. A decently hoppy offering that will appeal to those the acolytes of dank without offending people like me that don't like dominant dank. A good 15 seconds after that dry finish, you notice some hop burn on the back of the throat, pretty mild, just a hop itch really.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, reasonably smooth, decent fine carbonation emerging on the back end. Light smooth malts, reasonably sweet. Spicy hop intro, some decent orangey citrus, spicy tangerine, a little peel of both. Touches of floral citrus and a little floral grape on the back end. Citra outmuscles both the Kiwi hops here. When the quality of Nelson and Motueka was much higher, it would have been more of an even fight. Crisp citric peel bitter finish. Good.

Can from Bottles & Books. Murky golden body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange, apricot and straw. Flavour of raw hops and bitter lemon. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. The three Pentrich beers I’ve had to date have been full on and mega hoppy; I’ve liked them but have struggled to find flavour nuances beyond ‘raw and hoppy’.

Can bought from the Offie, Leicester, and drunk at home. Bright golden orange and impenetrably hazy. Juicy aroma with lots of satsuma, pineapple, apricot and mango, with notes of TCP. Bittersweet taste. There's a lovely beer here somewhere but it's buried under hop burn. I settle into it a bit and get more creamy citrus and stone fruit character. Sharp, boozy finish with bright bitter hop on the aftertaste. Intense and to enjoy sipped slowly.
