Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 19/12/24. Moderately hazed orange with a light egg shell white cap that thins to a swirl in time. Nose is bitter tropical fruit esters, grass, light hop spice, pine nip, grapefruit. Taste comprises orange zest, peach, pine needle, grass, guava, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with mellow juice laden hop bitterness. Tidy enough easy drinking DIPA if sadly lacking in the advertised Nelson.

12th December 2024 Can. This version hopped with Citra, Cashmere and Nelson Sauvin. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Light malts, thin in the mouthfeel but has adequate creamy sweetness. Crisp sharp pine. Both bright citrus and bruised citrus and peel hop fruits ensue. A little hop spice. Modest tropical fruits. A little melon on the last gasp. Crispy finish. Good stuff, felt a bit thin but in the end, this is satisfyingly rich dipa.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 15/12/24. Hazed orange topped with a lasting just off white head. Nose is bitter orange, grass, raw pineapple, melon, grapefruit, light hop spice. Taste comprises pineapple, grass, orange zest, melon, grapefruit, pine needle, mango, dank chime. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close peppered with danko come lightly resinous hop bitterness allied to a balanced rising boost. Tidy enough DIPA if not from Pentrich's top drawer.

Can. A medium haze on this yellowish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, slightly thin, good fine minerally carbonation. Thinnish but sweet malts, a pronounced creamy sweetness that, for me, over stretches. Light crisp pine. Hop spice starts to nibble. Pretty bright citrus and mild tropical fruits. Mild savoury skunk. Very modest Nelson grape, summat betterer than nuffink. Crisp finish. Nice enough but, too sweet in the malt dept.

Black beer, tan head. Smells of brown sugar and vanilla. Flavour has caramel, lactose, sugar, a little cocoa. Decent body to it, just a bit of toastiness to cut through some of the sweetness.
