Bottle bought at Vine Yard, Swanage. Fruity aroma with some coffee bitterness. Opaque chestnut brown. Thin frothy off-white head. Light-medium juicy berry sourness. Underlying creamy sweetness. Gains a politely low key coffee-liqourice bitterness as it warms up and this then dominates. Medium bodied. Average carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Decent characterful mild. BTW - this beer is named after a local Cerne Abbas blacksmith so not sure of a previeas rater has got confused whetheyey refer to Sabretooth Tiger Tom, whiever that was (I googled and found nought).

Cask at Egham. Aroma a combination of sweet citrus and sulphur. Slightly hazy bright gold. Bubbly white head. Sweet lemonade-esque citrus with a slightly dulled smokey edge at the end. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Astringent finish. An odd tasting citrusy pale. Not quite what I'd expect from the style.

Cask at New Milton Beer Festival. Aroma of coconut, chocolate (and less positively) sour milk. Dark with a red tint. Creamy beige head just clings to the glass. Sweet with a slightly sour edge from the rum. Reminds me of a Bounty bar. Only slightly off. Surprisingly light, creamy but thin. Flat carbonation. Long finish. It's nice enough other than this kinda curdled element which detracts from the overall experience. Although I've never been keen on rum.
