Tap at the brewpub. Much like the red but smooth and not quite so hoppy. Decent drink.

Bomber - cloudy dark amber with a thick, frothy off-white head - aroma of cookie dough, chocolate, tobacco, roasted nuts, nutmeg and other spices, a bit of acidity - flavor is initially tart and acidic, but then becomes rather sour through the middle - obviously infected - creamy mouthfeel - a bit of roasted malt and chocolate, a touch of spiciness - but this all is hidden underneath the acidity from the infection - seems like there is a decent brown hiding under here - too bad - I guess now I know why they don’t bottle much.

5th August 2010. GBBF.
Hazy gold beer with a good suddy white head. Moderate carbonation. Sweetish pineapple, lightly spiced orange. Traces of mango and peach. Nice flavour - just a little more carbonation would have been good. Finishes slightly dry.

Cask@GBBF2010. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel malts, fruity, wooden, earthy and a bit grassy as well. Flavour is caramel malts, some bready malts, mild spices as well as some sweetish notes and toffee.

Pours a clear brown with a head that dissapates quickly. Nose is lots of nice, sweet malt. Medium mouthfeel follows through with lost of malt through the whole palate.
