Cask at GBBF 2015. It pours clear mahogany brown with a small beige head. The nose is malt, loaf, brown bread, fruit cake and dried fruits. The taste is bitter - sweet, brown bread, spicy, earthy roast, leather, toasty, light alcohol warmth with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit oily in mouth - feel. Simple scootish malty beer. Good boost.

Draft at GABF. Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose and taste of baker’s chocolate. Lighter medium body.

Tap @ Nexus. Pours a dark amber orange appearance with a tan head. Toasty malty, caramel, earthy, lightly herbal aroma. Fairly spicy hoppy, somewhat piney, herbal bitter, caramel malty flavor. Not bad.

Tap @ Nexus. Pours a dark orange appearance with a small off white head. Spicy toffee, earthy, caramel, sweet malty aroma. Light chocolate, rich caramel malty, chewy dessert toffee flavor with light carbonation. Ok.

Tap @ Nexus. Pours a clear, light yellow appearance with a white head. Sweet, lightly toasted malty, a bit fruity aroma. Slightly herbal bitter, a little grassy, slightly chewy, quite sweet malty flavor. Pretty decent.

Tap @ Nexus. Pours a clear, rust orange appearance with a khaki head. Spicy caramel malty, a bit sugary, slightly floral aroma. A little strong, chewy tangerine, rich caramel malty, lightly boozy, quite rich flavor. Overall not bad.

Tap @ Nexus. Pours a dark brown appearance with a light brown head. Roasty, bittersweet, milk chocolate, light coffee aroma. Fairly bitter, roasty dark chocolate bar, a touch rich flavor but tasty.
