GBBF Day 2. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a fine crispness. Light sweetish malts. Spicy hop. Marmalade. Floral orange. More hop spice. Little tropical fruits. Light dry spicy finish. Punchy!

Cask at GBBF 2016 09/08/2016. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with small white head. Aroma is orange citrus tangerine, raw bready grains. Flavour is composed of light orange, sticky candied orange, caramel. Palate is sweet and sticky, moderate carbonation. Decent.

Sampled @ GBBF Day 2. A bit hazy orange color, small white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, moderately hoppy, again quite sweet hoppiness, some (over)ripe tropical fruit hints. Hardly a bitter flavor detectable, perhaps the slightest bitter touch in the finish. Decent beer.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2016. Hazy amber no real head. Pink grapefruit hoppy aroma and flavour. Good american pink grapefruit ipa. Good ipa if condition isn’t great good fruit juice.

Cask at GBBF 2016 as Nexus IPA at 6.8%. It pours lightly hazy amber with a medium off-white head. The aroma is pine needles, grass, hay, floral, minerals, flint, soft bready sweetness and cereal. The taste is dry, bitter, piney sting, bitter - sweet, grapefruit, icing sugar, candied citrus and tinned fruit with a drying, somewhat astringent finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and oily mouth - feel. A bit sweet and astringent. Fair.

[ As Nexus Scottish Ale ].Clear medium to dark brown amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, caramelized, wood, tobacco. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, tobacco, wood, caramelized, caramel, smoked notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at GBBF 2015, day 2 - London. Thanks, Dave! Pours clear copper-orange with a creamy, yellowish head. The nose holds big, bready malts and caramel. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with more rich malts, ripe fruits, berries, toffee. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly sticky on the finish, with notes of toasted sugars, berries and dates. Nice Scottish ale.
