Description
Canteen Brewhouse is proud to be Albuquerque’s longest-standing brewery, serving our first beer back in 1994. Over the years, we’ve won over 150 local, national and international awards, but we’re most interested in our loyal following of folks who share the same passion for great beer. Join us at the Canteen Brewhouse or Canteen Taproom for a pint, or take home a six-pack, crowler or growler. We want you to believe in beer, too! (previously Il Vicino Pizzeria and Brewery).

12 oz. can. Pours a clear, orange color, with a small, foamy, beige head. The aroma is caramel, grass clippings, coriander, and mild resin. Sweet and malty, with a funky, off bitterness. Light to medium body, slick, and syrupy. Fair.

This 12 oz can of Exodus was located at the Santa Fe Total Wine in the middle of the summer. Canned on 5/18/23. apparently, at a brewery new to me. The label indicates 7.2% abv and 70 IBU, just pointing out. I am using my Cowtown snifter to catch the pour this still very warm, early evening in September. The appearance is a dark yellow-gold finished by a large, steadfast head of off-white foam. The scent is pine, hops and citrus, it looks like we have a throw-back beer going on here. Time for a drink, wow, I am reminded of La Cumbre Elevated. Plenty of hops bitterness, a bit of mango, malt and citrus. Refreshing in this day and time, well done.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Light haze on this paleish gold beer, small white head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light pale malts. Hops bring a hold lemon meringue. Pine and a little hop spice. Semi dry finish. Semi dry finish. Not sure what is imparting the lemon vibe, but it's rather splendid!
