Bottle thanks to Dan. It pours clear light gold with decent white head. The nose is soft, fresh, soapy, fresh lemon, grapefruit, cracker and dough. The taste is crisp, clean, water, soda water, lemon tea, grapefruit and minerals with a short, dry finish. Light body and fine carbonation. Clean and simple.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - copper with a thin head. Nose - butterscotch unfortunately, maybe it’s just caramel. Taste - dry malt and astringent. Palate - light bodied with a dry astringent texture and finish. Overall - an awful beer in a pretty bottle.

Cask at the kings arms near waterloo. Mostly clear yellow coloured pout with a fine white head. Aroma is lovely bouquet of tropical fruit, peach mango and lychee with faint lemon. Galaxy hop maybe. Flavour is composed of white grains, bready, tropical fruit with a bit of lemon. Nice mango and peach tropical fruit. Good cask condition. Lovely. New world hops and cask conditioned beer. Lovely.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden, no head. Aromas are a little sweaty, some maltiness. Taste is thin, a bit watery, some astringency at the back, some herbal notes. Not quite the refreshing Golden ale I was after this sunny afternoon. I’m guessing filtered and force-carbonated. Probably better on cask.
