Description
A boutique style brewery situated in a former maltsters in the heart of Sowerby bridge. Our 8 barrel copper clad brewhouse is on display in the downstairs bar, however, we quickly outgrew this kit and so we now brew on a 16 barrel brew house in the cellar.

I'm unaware of anyone I know in the Mile High Club. This mild would be popular in a club as it's a traditional styled malty beer that could easily please returning regulars who want their regular. On the hoppy side of the style, there's plenty of flavour here from its hop-malt balance.

Standing room only currently. Deeper golden with a creamy head. Quite a gritty version of the single hop in a brew, which feels a little more towards bready than fruity, but is interesting enough to order.

I've never seen 'Happy Valley'. This Hoppy Valley I have seen, came, conquered, and can report it's a very sessionable hoppy brew. Looks good, slips down the palate with ease, and will probably be a staple at this brewhouse for a long time.

Halifax Beer Festival 2023. Hazy light golden with a head and a clear strength. Some tropical fruitiness manages to break through though.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2017, day one - London. Pours clear brown with a light, tan head. The nose holds dried berries, light roast, chocolate. Lightly sweet with some drying ash, baking cocoa, mellow earthy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes with more dry ash and cocoa. Nice one.

Calderdale Beer Festival 2019 at Halifax. Golden-amber in colour and a very herbal ale in design, but palatable. Its ginger is not that offensive within the brew.

Cask @ Hogshead Brewhouse, Sowerby Bridge. Clear golden with a thin head. It’s lightly hopped with a sweetness in its nose. It has a dry unadventurous taste at an easy strength.
