Cask at the White Hart, Holyport. A golden amber pour with a loose cream head; yeasty aroma with some biscuity malts and a touch of citrus; sour grainy taste with an immediate forceful herbal bitterness; then a long crisp bitter finish. Rather good.

Bottle from Nottcutts Garden Centre, Laleham. Spicy resin aroma, with a sour edge. An odd opaque lightvroffee brown. No head to speak of. - an off-white film. Medium bitter. You can't miss the rye. Plus a quinine core running through it, which lessons the impact of the rye. Light bodied. Thin but dies leave a slick mouthfeel. Flat carbonation. Long dry finish. OK. But as rye IPAs go this is a weak effort.

Bottle from Nottcuts Garden Centre, Laleham (the posh bit of Staines). Malt and honey aroma. Hazy amber. Thin creamy white head. Medium bitter. Quinine and grains. Medium bodied if on the thin side. Leaves a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. Better than I was expecting. It's got a hoppy kick to it but is somewhat basic.
