Pigs Ear. Cask. A light haze on this amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light and fairly dry, good fine carbonation. Nice condition. Nutty malts, light floral. Nice semi ripe citrus. Mild crystallised fruits. Semi dry finish. Nice fresh bright mild.

Nerax cask, 4/20/23. Lightly to moderately hazy, very pale lemon-blonde. Small, white head to ring. Moderate yeastiness adds plentiful fruit ester. Hops are lightly juicy, seem mostly citra-like. Lots more yeast character behind it. Light bubble gum at most, though. Cracker and white bread-like malt easily balance. Salty, yeasty, basically no bitterness. Not really much of anything, honestly. Yeasty salt water, though inoffensive and clean otherwise. Lingering, light orange and lemon notes.

Cask at the brewery. Aroma has sweet dark fruit with a woody edge. Clesr chestnut. Thin creamy white head. Big sweet hit. Dark fruit WITH berries provide a sour edge. Underlying malts. All very gluey. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long astringent finish. Not very special. Big flavours but no balance. A lazy tribute of a beer - the pun is not enough.
