Hand pulled pint at the Old Well, Barnard Castle on 4th Match 2026. Amber with a red hue, off white topping. Malty front with a decent hop bitterness as you get into it. Solid pint all round.

ABV: 4.4%. Clear medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, sweet malt, pale malt, light hoppy, fruity hops, light citrus - orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity hops, citrus - orange. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20191011]

18/7/2024. Cask at the 2024 Chelmsford Summer Beer & Cider Festival. Pours slightly hazy dark golden amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, malt, biscuit, grass, touch of herb. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Nice developing bitter finish. Quite enjoyed this.

Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, touch of woody tartness. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Light woody, drying finish.
